GameBreaker soft shell headgear is designed specifically for non-contact and limited-contact sports like 7on7, flag football, and unpadded practices. They are not a substitute for hard shell helmets in full-contact football. What they do provide is Virginia Tech rated impact protection for situations where a hard shell isn't worn which is exactly when athletes are most vulnerable.
Yes. GameBreaker headgear is approved for use at 7on7 tournaments and competitions across the country, including major recruiting camps and youth leagues. Many leagues now mandate soft shell headgear and GameBreaker is the most widely adopted brand in that space.
