This past season we implemented the use of the Aura headband for both our varsity and JV programs with 40 girls wearing them. First things first we suffered zero head injuries this season due to collisions or whiplash to the ground for our players. This is the first season that we did not lose any on-field time due to a head injury. We have generally averaged 2-3 per season. Our girls loved the fit and look of the bands this season.
They became as essential to their dress as mouthpieces or gloves. Given the success we had with the bands, we will continue to order and equip our players with them going forward. I am currently in the sizing process for our middle school program and hope to make an order in the coming week.
