Sizing :: GameBreaker Headgear
Use a cloth or paper tape measure to measure around your head. For best results, use a plastic/cloth tape measure. Alternately, you may use a piece of string or cord and then measure the length of the cord.
Measure across your brow (approx 1″ above eye brows), slightly above your ears keeping the tape parallel to the floor. This measurement is a “two-person” event and is nearly impossible to accurately do by yourself.
Maximum Protection Requires A Snug Fit
Like all headgear GameBreaker and GameBreaker-PRO will only provide protection when it is on your head. Proper fit is only half the equation. Make sure you are always fastening the chin strap and pulling the cap down to just above your brow line to ensure Maximum Protection.
The athlete on the left is fully protected. He has his chin strap fastened, and his headgear pulled down snuggly to his brow line. The Athlete on the right is not fully protected. Not only is he at risk of his headgear coming off because his chin strap is not fastened, he is wearing the headgear pushed back on his head exposing his forehead to impact and reducing the effectiveness of the rear of the headgear by creating a space between the headgear and his head.
